Vincent Ivan Phipps
Senior Communication Coach, TLC
In 1997, Vincent Ivan Phipps joined the team of TLC. Vincent and TLC provides customized seminars, executive coaching, meeting facilitation, keynote speaking, licenses for TLC training to be provided in-house for Fortune 500 companies (materials, videos, books, CDs, and DVDs), to help people enhance their personal and professional success through effective people skills. After being approved to conduct Myofunctional speech therapy sessions with adults and children, he went on to become the company's Senior Communication Coach/Consultant. Vincent received an accommodation from TLC's CEO, Beverly Inman-Ebel by the company being awarded from the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, Small Business of the Year. Vincent is a sought after international and domestic keynote speaker and presenter. He has provided his voice and camera talents for Educational Video Seminars.
Vincent Phipps was selected into the 2005-2006 Edition of 40 Under 40. This is an annual recognition where the Chattanooga Times/Free Press Newspaper, reviews the professional accomplishments of hundreds of Chattanooga professionals under the age of 40. Out of the top nominees considered with the most prestigious profiles, the top 40 individuals are selected. Out of this years winners, Vincent is the only Interpersonal Communication Coach/Consultant and Professional Speaker!

Author/Publications
Vincent is the author of over 200 nationally published articles as a subject matter expert in interpersonal communication.
He also wrote the official international anthem of the Collegiate 100 (Mentoring program for boys) called, "Intent of the Mission." He has also published his first book entitled, "Beyond the Poems: Explanations Behind My Inspirations." Honors and Service
Vincent is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, Chattanooga, TN. He is also a member of the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. As the inaugural Collegiate 100 president, he served as the national spokesperson delivering keynotes to either current or prospective Collegiate 100 Chapters at: Tennessee State University, University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Vanderbilt, Meharry Medical University, and speaking at national conferences and conventions in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, and Tennessee.
Vincent is also the Founder and former President of Rhyme N Chatt, Interactive Poetry. This is the only seasonal performance poetry group of its kind in the world incorporating the sharing of poetry in addition to dialogue between the poet and the audience. Annual involvement involvement includes churches, schools, community events, and fundraisers. He has been a featured performer on numerous poetic CDs and DVDS including: Poetic Moods of Rhyme N Chatt, Out of the Blue, Love Groove III, and Slampoze I, II, and III. And the soon to be released anthology of inspirational poetry, Fresh Air.
Vincent was also a Board member of the Chattanooga Young Professionals. He also enjoys volunteering his time and talents to the following organizations including: Boutwell Professional Wrestling, Ebonee Models, Girl's Incorporated, Girl's World, Boy & Girl Scouts of America, Inc., Upward Bound, Kids Kampaign, SistaSpace and many others.
Speaker
Vincent has delivered keynote speeches all across the United States! He has spoken to audiences of all sizes, backgrounds, and diversities. He is always excited to share his message of improving people skills whether talking with a local organization of only a handful of eager listeners or a stadium full of thousands. Vincent blends his: high energy, real life examples, practical, common, natural and acquired knowledge and humor to entertain as well as inform. His areas of expertise include: interpersonal communication, listening, voice, body language, teamwork, adapting to others, goal setting and leadership.
Educational Background
Vincent earned his Bachelors of Science in Speech/Language Communication from Middle Tennessee State University in 1997. Serving as Co-Captain of his Argumentation and Debate Team, he was undefeated in speech and debate competitions. Vincent also received a certification from Success Seminars hosted by Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins, Christopher Reeve and Donald Trump. In Nashville, TN; Gatlinburg, TN; and San Antonio, TX, Vincent was certified in engaging and presenting as a Taproot Problem Solving and Investigation Presenter.
Personal Background
The internal and eternal joy of his life is his exuberant and irresistibly adorable daughter Taylor (who at 8 years old is already showing the promise of being and excellent motivational speaker.) He also writes and performs in open mic poetry readings and competitions. When Vincent is not traveling the world, he enjoys staying home, cooking and going hoarse during Atlanta Falcon football games!
